Bought a mini bike for my nephew's birthday. His mom was a little happy about that 😂 He also has gloves, elbow pads and shin guards. They all work great but my sister is still not too happy with me. In my defence, I dealt with my son-in-law first 😂

If you are unsure of size. try a smaller one first. This item appears to be well made and the most important aspect for me is the spine support for my 6 year old son who rides an ATV. There can't be too much protection. He also wears neck protection from Atlas Broll and of course a helmet.

This protector is fantastic - it's an all round chest, spine and and shoulder protection + kidney belt. This size M is perfect for my 8 year old with room to grow. It is easy to put on and take off because it has Velcro fasteners, so that putting it on and taking it off is not a problem even in the helmet.

My daughter thought this vest was a waste of time. She thought she didn't need it. She then fell against a barbed wire fence and this vest kept her chest from bursting! She has a fairly large cut on her arm, but where her chest and stomach would have been cut are scratches at best! Best money I've ever spent!

My son is 6.5 years old, 1.60 m tall and slim. We bought it a large size and it has at least 2 years of growth in it. It has more back and chest protection than some of the more expensive brands at off-road bike/ATV shops. If I have any complaints I'd like better ventilation and white or lighter color so it doesn't get hotter in warm weather.

My son chose this chest protector to use while riding his off road bike. He used to only wear a couple of sweatshirts. He's 14 years old, tall and slim, and we ordered a large one. it can be adjusted anywhere and we still have air to breathe. It fits perfectly and he loves it so much. Keeping your children safe can come at a price. I think this safety vest is a great price for the quality of the product. My 4 year old son looked and felt comfortable in it and also gave me a sense of security knowing his key parts were protected.
