You are really warm and supportive. I often wear compression stockings and they provide warmth and compression! Who knew?!?!

I daresay this is a step up compared to Smart Wool. I like them better because the elastic doesn't interfere with blood flow. They are affordable. They're not loose at all, they just sit a lot more comfortably.

Socks fit, are comfortable but not warm at all. We went skiing with them and my feet were freezing all day. I had to take a few breaks to feel my toes. I think they will be suitable for cool weather walks.

bought a pair for my daughter to ski/snowboard. A bit skeptical at first because of the reviews, but so far so good; Even after a few washing and drying cycles. Also bought a few pairs for me and my son. absolutely no problem. There seems to be a lot of soft surface and support. corresponds to the size.

I wore these socks snowboarding and they kept my feet warm the whole time. When I took off my shoe, there was a coin-sized hole where the toenail of my left foot should have been. The hole wasn't made with a nail, but I assume the fabric tore at this point from stretching. The other three socks didn't have holes, but I only wore them once.

I am 5.6 years old and have been in the shoe industry for 9 years. I ordered both medium and large and chose medium. It was tall to the knee. The middle one is just below the knee. They are thick and soft on the foot. Great in ski boots. I just skied at 30F in Utah and never caught a cold. I chose them instead of wool socks because wool itches me. There is a lot of thread in the sock, but that doesn't bother me.
