Great for the new DE razor!

This is a great razor for anyone just starting out with the double-edged shave, especially if you're used to the old 'break and drag' method from years of using multiple blades with cartridge razors. . Why? Because this razor is VERY soft and VERY gentle. While many people recommend Mercury for beginners, do yourself a favor and check out the blade gap between this and the Mercury. For comparison, the Merkur 23C and 28C have blade spacing of .025 inches, which is between 3 and 4 on the Gillette

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Blunt hardware

Wallet and sustainability

This razor is definitely very well made. He's a good weight for his weight. The open/close mechanism seems very reliable. I've been using this product for about three months and it has never come off while shaving. The blades fit very well. The handle is also very handy. I had no problem slipping with a wet grip or wet hands. And most importantly, it's very easy to keep clean. A simple, unused toothbrush will clean them of soap scum from time to time. The most exciting thing about owning this…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good safety razor for beginners

This is my first safety razor; I'm tired of buying expensive replacement disposable cartridges. This worked very well for me as a beginner. I'm not very good with angles but I wouldn't say it's a very "aggressive" razor as I find it difficult to cut. I occasionally get cuts if I'm not careful in tricky spots, and once I cut my finger badly while handling it carelessly. But I think I've only cut myself 3-4 times in almost a year of shaving my legs and armpits, and I'm not a particularly…

Ladies rating good for razors and blades

Okay, here it is. I've heard so many amazing things about these razors. I bought them for obvious reasons, eco-friendly, cheaper. But what strangely surprises me the most is how close the shave is. Well, if you're a woman or a man who likes to shave other places, let me tell you a few things. Be VERY aware that safety razors are reversible. If you shave the lower areas and are not careful you will cut yourself. 2. The angle is very important, it doesn't rotate, so it needs to get used to it3…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Ladies are good too!

I am new to using a safety razor and I am a female. I've always had to shave a lot as I'm Spanish and Greek. Half of me shave every day. It's a chore, but I really hate body hair. Anyway, I have shaving issues and ingrown hairs, so I started researching possible solutions. One should get an aftershave spray and the other should use a safety razor. I was a little nervous, but other women have tried and survived, so I tried too. I always wear glasses and walk slowly. Luckily I didn't cut myself…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • May cause injury

My Beginner Experience

Conclusion: This shaver sucks. Seems pretty bad. My Mach 3 offers a closer shave with less irritation. I bought the Merkur 34C about a month after getting this razor and it was amazing. details below. First of all I would like to say that I have been shaving Gillette Mach 3 for about 1 year when I first got this razor. I was so excited to shave with the DE razor. I have a good shaving soap (Proraso Red), a boar comb and a stand to allow the comb to dry properly. I have a couple of Gillette…

  • Excellent Overall Performance

So cute I stole it - razors and blades

I bought this for my husband and then stole it for personal use. I bought him another one so he can't complain. It's bloody superior to "normal" razors. I swear it gives you a closer, smoother shave and lasts longer. Have been using it regularly for almost 2 years now and it still looks brand new. We can also save a lot of money on blades. I would definitely buy it again if I ever need it. However, it looks like this razor will be around for some time.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Extendable

Impressive safety razors

My old Parker 99R razor broke after a few years of use so I was in dire need of a replacement. For the price, this WEISHI shaver is second to none. It has a very solid construction and the textured handle is rougher and grippier than my old razor which I prefer. My old straight razor had a kind of spiral texture on the handle, which is more elegant, but I find WEISHI easier to hold with wet hands. It's a good weight too. The locking mechanism is firm and secure. It doesn't "lock" like my old…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

  • No form required

Legs, armpits and pubis

Ladies, here's a tip for us: Or anyone who shaves their armpits, legs and pubis can't say enough about this razor. I've been using this razor for two weeks now and I really love it. I used to use Venus razors but could never tell when they ran out and they are so expensive that of course I used them for a month or more like a decent lady working on a budget. My boyfriend switched almost a year ago and I thought I'd give it a try. I've read reviews mostly from women and heard things like no…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • New competition has arrived
