I was so excited when this quilt arrived and then so disappointed when it finally arrived. The sheets were very rough and I know they get softer with every wash, but honestly how often do you wash your comforters? The cotton lining felt like cheap sleeping bag stuff.

It was frustrating to get the item dirty in many places. When contacting the seller, I was offered to return the goods. The price is decent and the overall quality and stitching is good but I should have offered a discount for the condition I received the duvet. DEFINITELY NOT NEW but was sold as NEW.

I like the material and the size, but the color completely disappointed me. I have indigo I was hoping it would be indigo. Even if not, I figured it would be more of a darker blue, or maybe a grey-blue. Instead, it turned out to be a much more purple blue after just one wash. That's too purple for me. Now it looks so old and cheap because of the faded purple blue color. If you're looking for blue, avoid this one.

I washed it according to the instructions, after the first wash it became "lumpy". The filling rolled between the layers and glued together. It feels lumpy and rough and does not lay down smoothly. You can see all the lumps if you hold it up to the light (see photos). For a +$100 blanket, expect much better quality. I would expect this from a $20-$40 duvet. And if it was that much, I wouldn't worry about returning. But it's not worth it.

This is an amazing blanket. I'm very picky about bedding and this duvet is actually perfect. I have a Parachute brand duvet that I love and this duvet from Amazon is very similar to the Parachute duvet maybe a little heavier. My house gets a bit chilly in summer and this comforter kept me comfortable all night, not too cold and not too warm. I've also washed it and dried it on low heat with no problems. This is the third Welhome duvet/blanket I have purchased. They're all well made, big, light, with real fabric covers, and warm enough for our needs.
