Using 88/0 was too dark and my hair (brunette turning red) turned orange/copper/brass. I used Sally's Wella (the same company that makes Koleston) to color my hair. I will never do it again after using this. I can't even stress how HUGE the difference in using this color is compared to Sally's color or the box. biggest difference? The end result is a super shiny, vibrant and long-lasting color. Also a big plus for me is the actual texture of the product, the 1:1 ratio makes it very thick so it doesn't drip. My hair does not have the typical hair dye smell when dyed or washed out.

Very disappointed with this color. Firstly, the mixing ratio is not comprehensible. Google says this brand is 1:2 but the packaging says 1:1. I did what the box said, left it with my client for the recommended time and we got a very light brown result. Like a level 7. Definitely not a medium brown level 4 as advertised.
