🔧 Weller 8125W Soldering Gun Tip Replacements Review

I've been in the electronics and communications industry for a long time and these nozzles are some of the best I've used, they retain heat quite well and stay clean longer. I would recommend them.

I have a Weller soldering iron that is over 40 years old and it fits and works perfectly. All I did was fill the tips with solder and I was back in business. I was sure I would have to buy a new gun as nothing matched my old tool.

It was difficult to find a replacement tip for my Weller soldering iron. Glad to find it at Revain, less happy with the quality. The metal is lighter than the original. When I bent the ends of the new tip to make it easier to insert into the gun, one end broke off. I was able to shorten the length of the tip and successfully bend the ends on both pins. Now it works fine.

bought these for a Harbor Freight 180w industrial soldering gun as they don't sell replacement tips and these are the closest I could find to the original round diameter wires 0.099 inches. This is 0.085 inches. Weller 7135 are rectangular wires .102" on the main diagonal and I'm not sure if they will fit in my shop as a pistol. I'll update the information when I check.
