🔥 Weller PS1100C Super Pro Cordless Soldering Iron Review

Premium portable port, a few bucks cheaper than a portable. I don't know why the exact same model without the Well name costs more, but it does. The adjustment knob at the base cracked like it had been dropped. This is a butane item so it cannot be returned. It works but looks bad and annoys me a bit.

My company uses this soldering iron for mobile installations and sees a lot of abuse. It's not the best we've used, but it's the most reliable to date. Really no complaints to mention. I think we've bought at least 10 in the last few years and some are still in service after our original order. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a portable professional soldering iron.

I almost bought another Weller butane soldering iron which comes in a case and costs less but I liked the idea of a stainless steel body. This soldering iron has only ONE tip and NO sheath. It doesn't really matter because suitcases with things like this are usually very cheap and I end up making one out of aluminum or wood that suits me.
