💧 Weller ST5 Sloped Water Pressure 25 Chrome Review

I was trying to find the correct tip for the Weller SPG40 soldering iron that came with my WLC100 soldering station. If you are looking for a new tip for this model, choose this one. It's small enough to handle most hobbies. Changing attachments is a hassle (especially when they're hot), so I'm always looking for the perfect balance between small enough to be precise and big enough for general use. For me that is the advice. Buy three at once.

This is exactly what I need for headphone making and small circuit board work. Less seconds than a regular tip on more cylindrical tips. Slightly cracked, the solder holds up very well When I wipe the sponge a shiny tinned tip appears. Very satisfied.

The tip that arrived was NOT a ST5 tip and to top it off it is defective (plating metal) with a fisherman pointing to the side . Presumably , This is the tip in this picture labeled ST5. While I was trying to contact the seller who was complaining about a defect. I haven't gotten a response from them yet.
