Pay More, Get More: Lucky Dog

My poor Rat Terrier chewed, scratched and rubbed on furniture so I could rub and scratch him for long periods of time. I was looking for a solution. I switched his food from Purina Pro One Slimming to this a few days ago and I can already see a reduction in his fear of scratching. Thank you for the product description that pointed out itching and skin improvement. I think this is a good product and would recommend it for skin and coat problems!

Pros
  • Great for a small home

Great for those allergic to chicken

This meal is perfect. My dog is allergic to chicken and many products contain chicken meal as the main ingredient, even if they contain other proteins. He licked his paws very often. I don't like feeding "no grain". This wellness CAP hits the mark. Plus, it's not smelly or greasy like other premium foods. He really loves it. I gave the bitch a free meal but she didn't get fat. His fur is soft and fluffy and his breathing has greatly improved since the transition!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

My bitch is fine

My bitch was so ill that nobody could or wanted to know what was wrong with her. We thought we were going to lose her. I started trying different foods for her and eventually started eliminating chicken from her diet. She got better, but it wasn't until we removed all the chicken and innards that she got a lot better. Now she's almost back to normal! She eats lamb and oatmeal. She gets no chicken at all! Every now and then we give her a small amount of potatoes with salmon! We are very…

Great food! in Dogs

I came across this dog food because my dog is severely allergic to many foods currently on the market. She cannot eat anything but fish, beef, pork, poultry. Many products use salmon oil or fish oil to add omega fatty acids to foods. It's one of the few that doesn't. The ingredients are extremely simple and that's what I love most about this meal. In both cases, it is important that you take the time and look at the ingredients when testing your dog for allergies. My dog absolutely adores it…

My dog liked it. Food Suitable

I have a dog with a potential food allergy so we gave this one a try. She liked the food, but unfortunately we have to try something else because her vet thinks it could be an allergy to animal proteins. Apparently, even in different flavors, there are still many of the same proteins. As far as limited ingredient diet foods go, this brand is a lot more reasonable than some I've seen, coming in at 70 pounds. A GSD (plus three other large dogs) can get very expensive very quickly. There was…

Excellent dog food, too much sediment

The dog food itself is great and deserves 5 stars - My two healers scratch less and my pit bull no longer gives off toxic gases! The problem was the food bag. It had a lot more than the usual amount of "sediment" or that powdery bit you see at the bottom of the bag. I don't know if that was before or after delivery but the packing box was too big and when I lifted the box to put it on my shopping cart the grocery bag moved freely inside and I could hear the pieces tumbling. . When I opened the…

This food is poison. Beware!

Our dog got very sick from it. After eating this food, her gums turned bright pink, she started salivating like crazy, and she tried to eat anything to induce vomiting. She always ate greedily, she had problems with digestion and we thought that this food might help her. If anything, it did the opposite and exacerbated the problem. She was taking Hill's remedy for a sensitive stomach, but she still had an upset stomach and I didn't like that there was so much cornmeal and little meat in the…

Our McNabb Border Collie has an unusually sensitive stomach when it comes to dog food. She can eat dog food with very limited ingredients, no matter the cost, or she will have diarrhea almost constantly. It's been like this since she was a puppy. Simple wellness has always been easy on the stomach and she eats it with relish (I can't report picky eaters as she eats anything that fits in her mouth). Aside from being good for their sensitive stomachs, there are a few other benefits to using…
