5 stars but the wall mounting screws are not very good.

5 stars but the wall mount mechanism does not work. I bought it for wall mounting screw holes as it is the only "standard" extension that has screw holes from the front. Screws to avoid cutting into the drywall well. I then tried using long drywall screws but they couldn't fit the holes in the sink. It's probably not the safest course of action, but I widened the flush hole 1-2mm, and it allowed the drywall screws to sink in and really install the extension securely (without even hitting the…

Installed in a wooden equipment rack - perfect

I had two equipment racks about 12 feet apart and I needed all the equipment in one of them to power the other. . With screw holes through and a 20 foot cord, this extender was perfect for mounting in a wooden rack (where I could never accurately place screws to use the keyhole mounts on the back of typical plastic extenders). .)

Surge protection at the highest level.

What I liked were the six sockets and the mounting option. My project for a new storage shed next to my garage with an outlet on an outside wall allowed an outside wire to be constantly run through the shed wall to an installed surge protector which then connects to two overhead fluorescent lights that turn on automatically. The light comes on when a person enters the door.

Pretty well done. Heavy cable - screws too short to use

The only complaint I have about this is that the screws supplied are too short. They only protrude about 1/16 inch through the back of the strip. Thanks to the splitter's design, the screws don't even touch the wall! To add to the injury, the screws have heads that are too large to be used with slots on the back of the strip. So if you're relying on the included mounting screws, think again.
