Clear purchase! on power tool

I wanted the third grinder to cover a little more surface area of the table I'm working on so I started doing some research. I already own high quality grinders so to be honest when I saw this WEN branded grinder I didn't give it much thought given the price and being unfamiliar with the brand. I bought it thinking if it dies or doesn't work well then I won't have much money and I'll buy another Dewalt etc. I've used this grinder for almost 20 straight 60 paperclip sheets and almost worked. 4…

A great buy for the price!

After reading other reviews I wasn't sure if this was a great idea but I had no problem with it. It's easy enough to make new anthers (if you're good with a sewing machine) and if you're using regular sandpaper (not velcro) the clips actually hold up pretty well, although you'll need a bit more time to get the first edge a little lower, a clamp so that there is enough space to attach the other end of the paper. I made a hole punch from scraps of plywood, screwed in some #12 drywall screws, and…

Very good fine grinder.

I do a lot of woodworking, especially since I retired. I'm renovating my mother's bedroom in Morganton that she bought 70 years ago. It requires a lot of sanding and very careful sanding of the veneered furniture. I mainly used an HF Bauer precision grinder. I compared it to Wen's grinder. In comparison, both performed about equally well, except that during my use, a large piece of the rubber pad on the HF grinder came loose in one of its corners.
