Excellent Product - Hardware

I used this product with epoxy and wood dust to fill cracks and knots in a canoe I was building. It installs pretty slowly and is easy to use. Perfectly ground. Very satisfied with the process and the result.

Pros
  • Wood Filler
Cons
  • Expensive

Great for filling gelcoat chips

I bought a used 2015 Sea-Doo GTI 130 that had a few stains through the gelcoat on the body and a few dents on the top from the impact had on the pier. This filler is excellent for filling gelcoat holes with epoxy.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Good but not great

Forms an easily sandable epoxy putty.

Very high quality, like all West System products I have had the privilege of using. You can mix it in any amount to get the consistency you want (from honey to peanut butter) and it turns into an easy-to-grind mass. I've used it with G-flex 650 to "fill" some exterior painted woodwork that has become rough from the weather. Sanding was easy with a handheld electric orbital sander - no visible repair after painting. I followed the directions that came with the epoxy and it worked fine.

Pros
  • Adhesives and sealants
Cons
  • Some nuances
