The rubber seal was difficult to see which way it was going as it would stay in place. No instructions, just plastic parts.

Doesn't lie flat on the tub so gives room for dirt to collect. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the workmanship is good and it lasts well.

Finally installed a drain and unfortunately it's leaking! I did a little bug searching to find that several reviewers had said the same thing. Decided it's not me but in stock.

Easy to install, just enough adjustment for an old claw pan. The drain seal is well sealed. The only thing I had to put in was a gasket and an o-ring to tighten it onto the old drain line.

I have a very old clawfoot tub & could not find a single dealer that sells replacement parts for it. Most of the long ones are at the joint so I had to lift the pipe 2 inches to use the others. With that, I was able to get the tub back on the floor and off my 2" blocks of wood.

I bought and installed this product. When a flange is used in a bathtub drain, the flow rate is reduced to an unacceptable level. My guess is that when the flange is screwed in, the plastic parts of the drain set are being squeezed together, creating a bad angle. This is poor design and requires costly service reinstallation fixes.

The title answers the first question that most people think of. I was concerned about buying this online and having to return it. But there are many adjustments to accommodate variations in runout/overflow and even some angular misalignment. It was no secret that the pipe was plastic, but I found the drain and overflow to be of very good quality. They are made of non-ferrous metal (let's say brass/copper), have a good look, high-quality threads and a precise fit. I would give it 5 stars if it…
