Westbrass D200 12 Air Rubbed Bronze Review

Nice air gap. The problem is that if you are using it on granite under the sink, the threaded section is not deep enough to work in this application.

I found it to be similar in quality to the hardware store brand with one difference - it comes with a heavier foam pad. I suspect it will last longer. I would buy this again .

the color is more brown than bronze and the color does not fully cover my husband to paint the base as the color does not match all the way down. We painted it black because we had no choice, the top brown and bottom white looked bad.

We removed it because no matter what we did it was splashing water all over the sink. Not sure what caused it, whether it was too much pressure from the dishwasher or too much play in the disposal line, but it was a disaster that cost several hours of our time.

We ordered two different color air gaps from WestBrass (antique copper and oil bronze). The aged copper was of good color (as pictured) and came in fully sealed packaging. The oiled bronze was not in its sealed packaging, already looking dirty and much darker than the photo (blacker than the bronze). What's frustrating is that I signed up to get it back and I can't. No air gap from WestBrass makes a return possible. Definitely disappointing.
