Very good product. Nice heavy brass with perfect chrome plating. Only 4 stars because of the clamshell's sore plastic packaging *ss. Prepare metal scissors to open.

Replaces the old stainless steel EZ mount for the refuse handler. Fits well and the whole metal construction seems more solid than the original. The chrome was shiny and pristine. The old part worked fine, just wanted to update the look when we bought a new sink. Had to reuse old rubber fittings, plastic stop screws and gaskets, Westbrass only sells chrome parts. You'll also need plumbing putty if you're using it on a cast iron sink.

1) After less than 6 months of installation, Oil Rubbed Bronze will wear away on the inside edges. The whole point of paying a very high price for this product is that the finish will match the faucets and other items in the kitchen, so wear and tear on the finish will greatly diminish the value of the item. 2) The instructions say you shouldn't use plumber's putty without explaining why.
