I bought the 14888 IPoint Evolution pencil sharpener to replace an old model that has been around for about four years. The new unit has worked well for the past few months, but it just stopped working. I have checked the unit for debris but there is nothing. I tried the power adapter for the old device but it didn't work. I've tried contacting Westcott online with no success so far. I will keep trying.

This sharpener has a feature that will stop when the pencil is being sharpened which is great. No more over-sharpening. The only complaint I have is probably the tears from crayons, which sometimes lose their "lead". Most of them are fine, but there are a few in a 36 pack that don't seem to go well with the outside wood and often have a small section that falls out, requiring another pass through the sharpener.
