Cuts through paper like a hot knife through butter!

I was using a 20 year old paper cutter and finally got tired of the dull blade and decided to buy a new one. This paper cutter works great! It can easily cut 10-15 sheets of paper. There is a nice plastic guide that helps hold the paper and keep it straight. The blade is very sharp and I have used it to cut hundreds of name tags out of heavy printer paper. So far I haven't had any issues with paper buckling or slipping when cutting - the blade goes through the stack every time! And if you're…

Ideal! Lightweight product

Perfect! The product is light, safe, accurate and sharp. When I moved I left my old heavy duty trimmer and didn't like my used spinning blade trimmer which I thought I could use as a spare. I finally broke down and ordered a new guillotine trimmer when Revain informed me the item was on sale. Rubber feet prevent slipping. The plastic protection doesn't bother me, as one reviewer noted. Don't buy for projects that require precision, but it's fine for cutting oodles of paper, you don't have to be absolutely straight.

If you are shopping products with online printable coupons and want to make your life easier then this item is great. Sufficient for this purpose, hence the one star. I used it to quickly cut stacks of coupons, no matter how straight the cut was, until the barcode cut I was golden. I never noticed how crooked this thing was because I didn't try very hard to get it straight.
