Cheaper than cheap!

Waste of money even for cheap scissors. My top pair is sharper by a country mile. They refused to cut the pattern without fabric, the edges are cropped and trimmed unevenly. They don't work on thin cotton fabrics and forget about knitwear. I will use them in the garden to dig up weeds and trim leaves. cheap is cheap.

Good but not durable

The plastic screw housing holding the two pieces together broke after a few uses rendering the shears unusable. Revain was replaced for free. The new pair lasted a few months but I expect the scissors to last for years. It would be better if the manufacturer did not use plastic moldings for gluing. They are sharp and will cut through anything I need them for (paper, plastic containers, rubber or wire toy mounts).

Bad buy: Kraft

This was the worst scissors decision I've ever made. They are so tight that I can hardly open and close them. I have arthritis in my hands so it's a useless crafting item that I currently have and can't use. I had to stick with the Fiskars brand. I would not recommend buying these online. You should test them before you buy, otherwise you will be stuck with a pair of scissors that can only be opened or closed with force.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Shades preserved

they would be perfect. They are still great scissors

I use Westcott on all of our scissors so I was happy to find this brand of fabric scissors. They seem really well made. However, after a short use, the bottom 2 inches of the blades won't cut, just pull the fabric down. I caught myself distractedly using them to cut paper, maybe that's why? I won't be too quick to blame the scissors as I may have been the one who messed them up through abuse. In any case, I bet they're perfect if you use them exclusively for fabric. They are still great…

My year-old pair became very dull and the handles failed

Buying new everyday scissors (as opposed to specialty scissors for kitchen, fabric, etc.) is actually not what you ever thought it would be. My pair that I had for years were getting very bored and the handles were failing so I settled on this pair. You were great. They arrived very sharp - the first thing I needed them for was cutting contact paper and they slipped right through. I've used them on fabric and they work just as well as regular scissors. They are still solid and I had no trouble…

love these scissors!

I love these scissors! I never thought how happy a really good pair of scissors would make me, but they make my day. My husband brings boxes home to work weekly and these incredible scissors are so sharp they cut through them with ease. They look like heavy scissors but are very light and very comfortable to hold. I used them to cut old towels into smaller rags and it was like cutting paper! I have a feeling the titanium blades on these scissors will really help to last and not corrode as…
