Lights up in my fridge, LED so uses less power. It matches the lightbulb on the other side of the fridge. It's not the annoying bluish cast of some LEDs. This is a regular lightbulb that should last longer than my fridge. Looks like the penguins in the fridge love it.

Bright but off-white light, yellow like a submarine. The LED bulb will outlive my fridge so it has all the merits and we're not really picky about how our fridge looks inside. We just want to look at the food. So if you're one of those uptight people who needs a bright white light with white carpet, furniture and a dog, this lamp isn't for you. was avoided - the light this lamp gives off is SO YELLOW - 2700 Kelvin - in my own head thought me, wow, this bulb should be around 3500 or maybe even 3000 Kelvin but even worse! It's a plastic bulb and an LED, so you can't put it in a hot oven - the only place you need that kind of "warm looking" bulb - I use it in the fridge to make it look like this flooded with insects bright yellow.
