I use this as a reading lamp at night because it gives off less blue light (think?). My eyes seem to feel better as a result and it's easier for me to fall asleep. I might buy another one for another room in my house soon!

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a bright warm light for my bedroom and this worked. The lamp looks so neon, but there is no strange light color. Only warm yellow/orange/gold in the room.

night use is good and healthy. It helps sleep. Not the best bedside lamp for reading, but minimizes light frequencies that can keep you awake. I immediately noticed a difference in my sound sleep. Definitely recommend.

The box said something like "Party Light" which confused me. He showed this light as a substitute for a colorful disco. We wanted a relaxing light for reading in bed at night. At first it seemed really yellow but now we've gotten used to it and love our amber lights on either side of our bed.

Great soothing light for evening use to counteract the blue/purple lightwaves that suppress our melatonin, also known as the sleep hormone. These bulbs really work, not the nasty fluorescent or LED light. Almost as pretty as a candle, but doesn't need to be lit! what a relief!

I had the dimmer bulb I could find but it still bothered my husband. Then I wondered if they make lightbulbs with red filters. It was great - also doesn't bother him when I fall asleep with the light on and also relax better than the regular white light. buy again.

I bought these to put in my bedside lamps so I wouldn't be bothered by the blue light disturbing my sleep. It's only been about a month but I think it's helping me sleep better. They give me enough light to read a book in bed if I want to. I also bought amber Uvex goggles (S0360X Ultra-spec 2000 Safety Eyewear, Orange Frame, SCT-Orange UV Extreme Anti-Fog Lens) that go over my glasses when I'm looking at a computer screen before bed. This combination seems to help.
