I bought it for indoor garden use. Unfortunately, although the lens is clearly tinted green, it glows amber when on. I went to a hardware store and bought another lens. It glows green and costs 60% less than this light bulb.

I need a full green headlight and it glows like it's almost transparent. If you just want a touch of green, go for it. Otherwise skip this. Actually, I don't know why I didn't look for a LED spotlight. The old lightbulbs have to go.
