Not Worth the Money

According to my experience, this product is not worth the buy. Although it looks great, it's not very functional in terms of providing ample light to a room. I tried to use this in my kitchen and it just doesn't cut it. Home and Kitchen can be a tough place to find the right lighting, but unfortunately this isn't the solution. Save your money and look elsewhere for something more practical for your needs.

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • Doesn't provide enough light

Looks clunky but works well.

Good for adapting two vintage ceiling fans. It would probably be nice to add a remote control. Enough space. Looks clunky but works well.

Pros
  • Mounting hardware included
Cons
  • Expandable

It worked great for me to reinstall a 30 year old fan.

I had to reinstall a 30 year old ceiling fan but the rubber bumpers on the original mount were dry and crumbling. It worked great, installation was easy and straightforward. The only thing that worries me is the holder's ability to last a long time. The main temple is an injection molded temple that is not very heavy. I think (hope) the designers did their homework. I have no reason to believe they didn't, just worried. This was the only solution I could find that met my needs.

Pros
  • Oiled Bronze Finish
Cons
  • Modern
