Disappointed with this purchase. Very loud. You can hear the scraping of metal inside the case. The literature says to do a run to eliminate the grinding. Today I run the fan at full blast to see if the noise gets eliminated with use. If it doesn't come back Should have spent a little more on the Hunter.

The two fan blade mounting holes were not screwed in properly and the supplied screws need to be slightly longer to ensure a more secure mounting. Some screws and washers were missing. In general, the quality of the device did not convince me.

I had a professional electrician install a fan and he started making grinding noises in the motor. He did everything to fix it, including lubricating it, and decided there was nothing to fix, the fan was defective. The best Revain can do is get me to remove it and send it back for a refund. That means paying the electrician again, buying another fan and paying for the reinstallation. It became a very expensive annoying project. Terrible fan, don't even bother.

Very bad quality - Marriage Marriage! I bought 2 of these fans a year ago. About 4 months ago, a wing broke off on the first fan. After the second fan blade broke off today, I thought I should warn others. I tried to contact Westinghouse online 4 months ago. I received an automated reply to my email that they would contact me after the first fan blade failed. Now the 2nd fan had exactly the same defect - the blade broke off. Luckily no one was around when those blades broke or serious injury…
