I redrilled the holes but it works great!

Matching description but had to drill new holes in new fan blades to match existing fan. In general, the installation took about 10 minutes. I will buy it again for our other fans!

Good price! - Lighting and ceiling fans

Had to drill a little more holes to fit my Hampton Bay outdoor fan mounting posts but overall it met my goal of replacing sagging blades! Great price as I bought used damaged packaging and the product is fine.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • unreliable

Not as advertised Fits ceiling fan blades

Product information is molded plastic. You are not. The MDF product is the same that I replaced. Otherwise the assembly and alignment of the holes was fine. You just have to enlarge the pre-drilled holes a bit to get the arms, but that's not a problem. It's disappointing that we're made of MDF and not plastic.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Replaced the blades on my van's ceiling fan

After I broke a blade in my van's ceiling fan without paying attention to the extending part I thought oh my god I need to replace the fan I was glad trying to find them as they looked just like the originals. They weren't exactly identical - I had to drill the mounting holes a bit more, but after that they held up with no problems. I weighed them all and they all differed by less than half an ounce, the balance was fine.

  • Best
Cons
  • No automatic

TWO blades spontaneously broke off!

The fan was professionally installed by us. A few weeks later we heard a roar. One of the blades shattered where the screws had been. We haven't used the fan yet. So I contacted the company. They were great and sent replacement blades. I replaced the broken blade. Hooray! And then two weeks later - again without success - the same thing. We don't know if it was the same blade or a different one. But two spontaneously broken blades. For security reasons we don't try anymore. Thank god no one was

Pros
  • Reliable construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not as advertised on ALL

The ad said these were METAL fan blades so I bought them to replace the fan blades on our screened in porch. I ordered 2 sets. The old MDFs have started hanging outside due to the high humidity in Missouri. When I opened it, I didn't find any METAL fan blades, but ones marked PLASTIC on the inner packaging. Slightly disappointed, I figured plastic would last longer than MDF, so I painted them with a few coats of Rustoleum Antique Pewter Hammered Metallic ($7+ per can). The 2 holes did NOT match

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Faulty
