Cute Little Tornado

Great toy for kids. Yes, it's plastic, not glass like a lava lamp, but it's still cool. There's a wall charge port on the bottom, but no charger, so it's just the battery. You can buy a universal power cord if you don't want to drain your battery. But it's great for a table or a child's room.

Pros
  • Standing Test Results
Cons
  • Everything Fine

He had a very happy expression on his face when he opened it

I bought this as a gift for my 10th birthday for my eldest son as a gift. When he opened it he had a very happy expression on his face. But when he put the batteries in and turned it on, we were all disappointed. The twister DOES NOT LOOK LIKE the product. Glass was cheap and fragile. Worst of all, a few days after we first tried it, the propeller broke and created a very slight twisting effect that looks awful. Definitely return and buy from a better seller.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

shake it! in lava lamps

Another reviewer stated that it was made out of cheap thin glass - it's acrylic, not glass. I personally would rather have my little one hold acrylic than glass, especially when sitting on the bedside table. We also thought the tornado broke after the first day, but it needs to be shaken up! The tornado material settles under the bottom propeller, and unless you shake it to release particles under the propeller, there will be no tornado. This is not a traditional lava lamp, so shaking it will…

Pros
  • All is well!
Cons
  • Expensive
