None of my stud earrings hold them. I figured it might just be a few so I tried a few of these. They slide back and forth like a giant ring, one and all.

I love hook earrings, but they get tangled in my hair or sometimes slip when I pull a sweater over my head. These little things are small and almost invisible, but when you put them on the back of the hooks they stay in place. You will prevent my earrings from getting lost. It is so easy.

I use it to secure the back of buttons/pins so the pin doesn't fall off when it comes loose! A thousand is more than for my collection. All you have to do is attach the buttonhole as usual, but before inserting the needle into the looper stop, insert one of these (careful). You may need to use pliers if your button is worn and the hook is loose.

I bought some luxury earrings but because they were quite long the earrings popped out every time they touched my shoulder - hooks in the shape of a inverted J or whatever they are called. I bought them hoping they would help the earrings stay in my ears but they would also fall off. I liked that they are small and somewhat unobtrusive, but for some reason they don't stick to the wire that goes through the ear.
