Fast shipping! (Thank goodness) The price of this part is good compared to a hair dryer replacement. This is an easy fix, just make sure the wires aren't accidentally grounded. We did that and the part only continued to heat up from 110V and not in the cycle. I turned off the dryer and went to the store and I came home and it was HOT! Took it apart again and it grounded. Thank goodness nothing worse came of it, but now it's all fixed, it's working fine.

Easy to install and works as described but this is the second I have installed in 8 months. It's weird how they work. The first time the dryer bar stopped heating, but everything else worked. So after a few multimeter tests I replaced this part and it worked great again. This time however the heating stopped and the timer stopped working so it ran for a few hours but didn't heat up. U-tube, ran some tests again and found it didn't work. I want to make sure about the timer issue but I re-ordered

Update: January 2021 -- Had to go back and order again as the heating element I bought in October 2019 had already failed. EXCEPT. When we pulled out a part that had just been replaced in October 2019, the coils warped and the plate blistered and charred like overheating/melting the coating. We are returning this new part as we will be looking elsewhere for a better quality product.
