Whiskers Windows Horizontal Sliding Small Review

Easy to install but no instructions or seal included. We'll try to get it working, but I agree with many others who have had trouble opening or closing the door. It should be easy, but it doesn't work very well. We hope this will allow our cats to get in and out more independently. We will see.

This cat door is the best. I like that it fits multiple windows of different sizes. The only thing I have is I have a 43.5 window so the door was only 16 longer. I ended up removing the metal plates from the top of the spring, inserting the door into the window, and then putting the plates back on. Everything has been working great for a few months! I had to trim the top about 1 inch to make it fit. We used a chainsaw and I removed the burrs with a grinder. I put it in the window of my husband's workshop for a street cat. I really had to push him and call him back a few times to make him comfortable. I received the pet door in good condition.1. I ordered a 48 inch tall horizontal sash window design with a small cat door. The door on the frame was installed upside down. So I had to take it off and replace it. Not that big of a problem. 2. Then the door didn't match my window.
