Cleaning and maintenance resistance

I applied it side by side on the roofline and it beats any sealer because I don't have to repeat it after application - stops at dripping. I had and will last forever - very happy

Holds up well on the van roof so far

Used to seal the hole in our roof after removing the TV antenna (I used a thin piece of polypropylene sheet to support from underneath). Time will tell how well it holds up, but there's every reason to think it will hold water. I will buy a bigger roll next time.

Indispensable in the first-aid kit for mobile homes

Excellent material for quick repairs in the field. Really sticky stuff so you only get one chance to put it where you want it, if it sticks it stays. I have used this material to patch a cracked rubber roof, a cracked aluminum roof on a truck trailer, and even a cracked sink. Don't leave home without it.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Can't remember

Prevents the fresh water tank from leaking

I put this over a crack in the fresh water tank. This stopped the leak completely. I wouldn't use it as a long term solution but until it cools down in AZ I can use the tank. I never tow it with water in the tank as I don't think it will hold up. When I pour water into the tank I see the band stretch but there is no leak.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Basically okay, but...

Makes a great band-aid for anything that retains water

I use it as a band-aid in the shower. The first patch is over two years old. It still works. Once a shower stall starts to crack, it keeps working. Eventually I will replace it. It's easy to use and really seals up when you follow the directions. This patch saved me. I don't want to buy a new shower tray until other things are fixed. Thanks to its great print there is no rush at all.

The best repair tape for RV roofs.

This tape is for permanent repairs and has excellent adhesion. When using this tape, be very careful with positioning and placement as the tape will remain permanent once applied. I cannot comment on the UV resistance of this product, although my camper van has tape already installed on it and seems to be holding up well. I searched and found the original and genuine Eternabond. There are imitators.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Unfashionable

mixed reactions to this particular order

Eternabond is a 5 star material. This small 5 foot piece must have been cut from a larger roll. It was rolled up tightly, so there were a lot of kinks in the ribbon. I had to leave it stretched out on a flat surface for a few days to straighten it out, which luckily I did. I was happy to get a small strip at a reasonable price as I didn't need an expensive full roll. The packaging was so good that the coffee spilled all over the box in the mail didn't seep into the Eternabond. I have been using
