📦 SuperTuff 4lb Box of White T-Shirt Knit Rags by Trimaco Review

I went through old rags, t-shirts, thrift stores, etc. before sorting out and buying a bag of rags. Who would have thought, but I'm very glad I did. Packed well (tight and clean), these rags are perfect for almost any job in the shop. It's hard to believe I'm showing a box full of rags, but I use rags a lot, and they're good rags. LAUGH OUT LOUD

Several reviews advertised this garment as being lint free and excellent for woodworking. Not so. All of this left little fine hairs on the tree. Even when sanding up to 600 grit. Applying varnish exposes the hair remaining after pre-dyeing. Spent hours on scrapes and pot holders to make the surface almost usable after use. Dissatisfied. This is a BIG box of rags. All I've pulled so far has been clean white clean cotton jersey. Looks like they're scraps from a t-shirt company. They come in different sizes, but most of them are about the size of a headscarf. When someone says to use a lint-free cloth, I think cotton jersey. There is some lint, but not much, and jersey is the most absorbent fabric you can get. Microfiber has less lint but does not absorb well. I bought these expecting all the rags to be the same type of fabric, but there were several different knits, some of which are definitely a mix of poly fibers and elastics. More than half the rags in the box were stretchy and fluffy. I bought these rags for staining and rubbing woodworking products, but due to the sheer amount of lint they shed, I ended up using them as an all-purpose cleaning rag.
