I've had a short version of this shoe rack for years and over the years it got to the point where it wobbled on the axle. I looked at the Revain for something to replace it and up and lo and behold there was a floor to ceiling for less than I think I paid for the short! Also because it is larger than the unit I replaced I can fit my size 13 men's shoes and instead of placing 6 pairs of shoes on each tier I can fit 4 pairs on each tier and have more space without being cramped. I didn't expect to like this product so much. I was skeptical when I bought it, but it's quite durable and I installed it in the "dead zone" of our closet. put it on a loaner rack but still didn't know how to best use the space at each end. This part solved that problem. I insert some rods at the other end. However, I will definitely be buying another one for my second bedroom closet once I'm done submitting this review. I was so excited when I discovered this product that I somehow missed the part that said it fits 9ft ceilings . I have standard 8ft 2.5in ceilings so with a spring pull rod and a second piece attached it was too big to fit. It was too shaky without the second pole. I went to Lowe's and found this little pipe cutter for $12 in the plumbing department. Trimming the second pipe to fit my ceiling and be solid worked great. As you can see I figured I would have to cut off 4.25 inches (according to…
