True measured length is 1/2 inch. Advertised as 1 inch. no The product is ok but too short if you are looking for at least an inch in length. Hope to use for something else.

As advertised. Work like a champ. I never have to worry about digging through the grass again if I drop it while raising/removing the storm blinds.

These covers were purchased as replacements as my original covers that came with the Hurricane bolt kit were 20 years old and needed replacing. That's fine, but they do NOT completely cover the retractable screws coming out of the wall, so they're not as good as the original protectors. I don't want rust on the end of the propeller shaft where the tread doesn't quite cover. They should be about 1/4 inch or longer. like 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" long.
