Not a bad price for a cheap entry level dual blade razor

I started shaving in the 70's. My first wet razor was the Gillette Trac II. So, like most people my age, I've believed for decades that double-edged razors are ancient technology and modern razor blades and disposables are the way to go. I was a fool I bought this on a whim, tired of seeing the prices of my favorite razors (Mach III) go up over the years. It didn't take me long to realize I much preferred shaving this way. than any of my more modern replacements. My face becomes smooth without…

terrible cheap junk

This is what happens when giant corporations make products. I got this piece of plastic trash based on all the five star reviews. The joke is on you if you think this is a quality razor. Maybe 95 cents. For ten bucks it's a complete scam. Don't waste your time with this plastic waste. Even the threads are cheap plastic that deforms as the blade is tightened. It has a very large amount of play and recoil. A $12 full metal razor is way better than that crap. Serious. Terrible. Blades are ok. I…

That's a good razor!

I returned to double edged blades after about 30 years of disposables after being unable to shave properly due to about 3 days of facial hair. My first try was some Chinese shit! I ordered two of these Wilkinnson swords and MAN what's the difference! One swipe and the hair is gone, NO IRRITATION, no dents, scratches or cuts. I used Wilkerson Sword blades with a Chinese straight razor. When you consider that this razor is made of plastic, that makes it even more amazing. I'm a lucky tourist!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Nice razor if it wasn't made for plastic.

I won't write a review until I have a product that I feel is long enough to really judge. I bought this item about 8 months ago. It broke about a month ago. This was my first safety razor and I've used the Gillette Mach 3 most of my life. I'm 32 and have been shaving since I was 14 or 15 years old. I had to relearn how to shave with this thing and loved it until it did what plastic usually does, which is break. Bought Van der Hagen at Walmart. Is this stainless steel. They sell them here, but I

SHAVING EYE at Razors & Blades

Years ago Grandpa got a newfangled cartridge razor. He gave me his old one but without the blades. I was 5 or 6 years old then. When I got to the point where I needed to shave, I was about to buy a razor and remembered my grandfather's razor. I bought and tried several blades. After about 40 years, the butterflies broke. Bought a brand new shaver. waste of time and money. I bought this work from Wilkinson Sword. Works perfectly. The blade guard is close enough to require two passes, but doesn't
