These shorts are great for hiking, kayaking, etc. outdoors. 2 large front pockets hold money or car keys so they don't fall out. I recommend them and will probably get another pair because it's hard to find good shorts once you fall in love with them, sometimes they just don't match the same style.

I wrote a review about the black shorts. I like the pockets, 2 arms and 2 zippers. I like the length and the plain back (no pockets). The only thing I didn't like was the elastic band which took my "medium" normal size and gave me the top of my head. I should have gotten a big one, but I don't usually wear a big one. Okay, I'd rather walk then.

I should have listened to people who wrote that there is extra fabric on the front that makes these shorts look pretty weird when worn. Spring. Otherwise the fabric is great and the blue is a great colour. So if they suit you, you will probably like them. but compared to the size of the leg opening and the size of the waist, there is an extra fabric in the front. I will return them.

I bought these for my daughter as she suddenly needed khaki shorts. She wears a size 2 so we ordered XS and they were on the verge of being too tight. The material was much thinner than I expected after reading the description. It was more like the quick-drying stuff you find in hiking or camping clothes. We definitely saw dark or patterned underwear through the material. Overall a good buy and they were available for delivery when we needed them.

These shorts are not nice. They bulge around the crotch as can be seen in my unattractive photo I included here. However, they are incredibly comfortable, don't chafe and dry out of the crotch very quickly. I accidentally ordered a medium size in blue but I'll take a chance and keep it to myself. (Eventually I came back). **UPDATE** I ordered a black pair in SMALL and found they were true to size so I ordered two more pairs in other colors. However, the front belly was VERY roomy on average, which made me realize they are a bit small in the legs and stretch very little. **UPDATE** small fits better! If you have big hips or are endowed with a nice "bum", they will fit tight. Now I have three pairs…
