I needed some new sweatpants for lounging around the house. That means open bottom and solid cotton. I gave up traditional brands like Champion and Russel as their quality is now limited. They have some spandex in them, but it really adds stretch. They are very comfortable and warm enough but not too warm.

These are my new favorite jogging pants. They fit really great (6ft 230lbs, size L) and feel so good! If I had to complain about anything I would say they are a bit thin but I like them so much I won't say. Now if only they could withstand washing and drying and didn't shrink, they would be perfect!

Contrary to claims that the solid colors are 92% cotton and 8% spandex, the actual blend in the charcoal gray pair I received is 55% cotton , 39% polyester, and 8% spandex. As I am trying to reduce the use of plastic, especially in clothing, this is unacceptable and I am returning the pants. Every time we wash polyester and other petrochemical textiles, we send billions of microfibers into our waters and oceans, ending up in all living things, including humans.

These jogging pants are light and comfortable. It fit perfectly when I first tried it on. Unfortunately it shrunk about half a size after the first wash and dry. Now it's too tight around the waist and uncomfortable. Too bad I can't return it as it has been washed so I have to donate it and accept the loss. I can't recommend these sweatpants due to shrinkage. You can take a risk and order one size larger than usual and hope it goes down, but it's really a guessing game.
