🚚 Freightliner Cascadia Wilson 305500 CB Antenna Mount - Fits 2017 and Older Models Review

It's good and fits my 2016 Cascadia but it broke just above the connecting rod. I put a 4 foot "Fire Stick" on it. That's what it's made for and the antenna isn't heavy. I hope someone does really well.

Easy installation. Due to the design and material the Cargoliner is made of, you'll either need a fairly long whip or prepare to lean forward. You can also use a ground wire to the negative rail on the driver's side firewall.

This is the second accessory I bought that broke after 3 weeks. The second time I put washers on both sides and it took 2 weeks instead of 1. Does anyone make a Cascadia mount that can take an impact without breaking off?

I bought this because I need a quality Cascadia Cargoliner antenna mount! Well it's perfect for a 3ft to 5ft antenna! Anything more and it will break at the welds and mounting holes! You need at least a 6 foot antenna for good reception and transmission! 7 feet is just the right amount for excellent transmission and reception. This mount won't handle it without fail

Aluminum construction means it will bend and break after a short while. This happened to me and luckily I was in a parking lot and not on the freeway. Another driver made a copy out of solid stainless steel and it's great. In no case do not give up and do not bow down to him.
