good choice for regular exercise

Really good choice for regular exercise. We put it on a Wilson Blade 98 UL 16x19 (L0) racquet and it turned out to be a wonderful set for a kid who practices a lot. It is necessary to buy several sets at once.

Pros
  • Trial year
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Dry gut not worth the price

Plays well. Money is no problem, gut/poly is my setup of choice. The gut in the package was dry and for the price we pay it shouldn't be. Better take a separate pack of gut and lux fresh even from Wilson, Gut

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Disappointed - Accessories

A string broke when pulling the racquet. I cannot request a replacement without returning the item. The tennis shop supplied the string itself to participate in this work. I don't have a broken string. I just found the number but I need to call within a limited time.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Protection

Racket accessory with control and power

The string is definitely worth the price. I set guts like nets and luxillions like crosses. I gained about 58 pounds. control is excellent. I'm allowed to throw the ball where I want with speed and spin. The durability is excellent. Gives a nice click when hit correctly. Expensive but worth it and would buy again.

Pros
  • Very impressive

The best combination for tennis strings

You just can't have natural gut on the cross and main strings. You might get three games and have to change strings. Having a natural guy on the cross and nylon as the net offers the feel and grip of a natural guy (which is unmatched) yet lasts for months (depending on how often you play). Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Unmatched playability and feel

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the price and lack of durability of these strings. I understand the nature of natural gut strings and can deal with their short lifespan. If you're an older polystring player, you might want to consider changing the strings for your playing hand. You won't find a more comfortable string or a more playable string. Good main line at 60#, Luxilon crossing at 54#, still excellent elasticity and tension maintenance.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

These are the best strings I can find

As I currently string my 4 racquets with the Gamma X-6, I can deduct the cost (and wait time) of stringing from the string price. I'm not bottoming out strings, but so far they've been really good for power and control. Also good on the elbow. They don't last that long, maybe 2 months. I don't break strings and play 3-4 times a week, usually around 1.5-2.5 hours. When these strings fail, it's obvious - hence the 4/5 in durability. So this is my system for playing "expensive" strings at a…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Minor issues
