Are these rejections? in Football Equipment

Wilson GST is the best ball but the last few balls I've ordered from Revain seem to be defective. I've had to replace a few due to bad stitching or an inability to hold air. When they're good, they're great. Either the QC at Wilson need to up their game or they need to stop selling Revain's crap.

Pros
  • Testers give high marks for support and durability
Cons
  • Problems

Overall good quality soccer ball

I bought this as a gift for myself during the holiday season for about $20 less than usual. Great looks, grip, balance and overall feel. I have yet to peel away some of the protective coating, but almost every surface on this ball offers some kind of stickiness. I've had it for almost two weeks now and it's still holding the same pressure as when I got it. I like that they are still made in the USA.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Obsolete model

The ball looks good. It gets rock hard, pumped up to the max. It's difficult to hold with one hand because it seems to be covered in slippery wax. I let some air out of the ball and sanded it down with coarse sandpaper. Error - do not grind. Rinse several times with a rag and warm water to remove all wax. Then take the Wilson Prep Kit and you're good.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Some variety

They don't last very long

My son is an HS kicker so he uses up more than most. We have a collection of balls that just don't take a hit. For two years I had to buy so many balls to keep him with inflated balls. I buy 4 at a time to try and keep him with 8 balls. They serve him at best about 6 months. We have bought so many in the last two years. If there was an alternative, I would try it. I can't comment on other players' usage, but kicking balls tends to be short-lived for this world!

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Wouldn't hold the air! *UPDATE*

The device has been deflated, which I think was due to transport. When I went to inflate it inflated to 10 pounds and nothing more. When I pulled the needle out, the soccer ball leaked from both ends of the soccer ball. Came back and try another order. Will be updated when available. *Update*: THE REPLACEMENT IS NOT HOLDING AIR YET. I called Revain and highlighted the problem with the product. They fixed the issue and replaced it with a now working device. Their customer service is the only…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Useless functions

Bought two, one broke in a month

My son wanted to play soccer to practice kicking when he goes to high school. He played several synthetic balls but we felt it was time to move on to more serious balls to better understand and develop his skills. According to him, these Wilson footballs were used in high schools - so we bought two of them and decided to invest in an NFL Duke ball. A month later, the Duke ball is fine and one of the two Wilson balls is still fine. The other ball shows no obvious signs of damage but no longer…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Ok mostly but...
