🎾 Wilson Sporting Goods Black Leather Tennis Grip - One Size (WRZ470300) Review

Genuine leather but not worth it as it is very thin and I got blisters after using it for a few days. I do not recommend it and will not buy it again.

Almost too short, had to be unwound and repeated with less overlap. Once installed this is the best grip I have ever had on my racquet. I'm thinking of buying 2 more for motorcycle grips.

I love the leather handle, the incredible strength and grip justifies the high price premium. I have always used a natural brown leather grip and bought a black one to match the racquet.

I have to say I'm very impressed so far! I'm not sure why Wilson can't list all the specs/facts on Wilson's website or here on Revain. But I have a high precision digital caliper and it says it's 1.5mm/0.059" thick, 21mm/0.83" wide and 49.5" long. That's 1.42mm for the Fairway Classic x 3/4" x 48" Leather grip very similar to the one I used years ago. Hope this helps others! :-)

I had the opportunity to play with the Wilson leather grip and the Babolat leather grip on my Wilson Blade v7 18x20. I bought a leather grip because I noticed a trend on the Pro Tour for 1-handed backhand pros to use leather with an overhand grip and felt I needed to emulate what they do with the grips.
