Great value for money - standard balls

I have just started playing golf again. I initially used hard cheap balls but wanted something softer and more realistic. I love these balls, especially on the short game and putting. It just can't beat them in terms of playability and value. I use white and yellow balls and this is my favorite ball.

Pros
  • are GOLS certified
Cons
  • expensive

best offer for us old people

I tried them for the first time after finding one on the track. I was surprised. It felt like kicking a marshmallow off my shirt, but the delivery was the same as the ChromeSofts I usually play. And the Wilsons are half the price. For those who have a relatively slow swing speed, the choice is not difficult.

Pros
  • nice packaging
Cons
  • speed

Great work for me! best golf balls

I bought these yellow balls because I lost to a lot of white balls. They are much easier to see in flight and can be found in the longer grass at the edge of the fairway. I'm a high handicap (working on it) but love the distance and feel of these Wilson Staffs on the green. The softer compression works well with my game.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • nothing

Ideal for weekend golfers

Great ball for medium to high handicap players. For those of us who play golf on the weekends and want a respectable brand without breaking the bank, they feel good and last long enough. Please do not slow down the game by looking for your $3 ball in the rough. Get a decent, bright, easy to find, cheap ball that you don't feel guilty about losing.

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • Disappearing Ball

that's what i play. If you play with a high handicap (like me) be honest with yourself and with others. Play ball with high visibility and low cost, which feels good. I don't like waiting for another fool to search the woods for a lost ProVX for 6 minutes. Take your medicine, throw another ball and let everyone have fun. Please.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • compatibility

Goes straight but not far

I've used this ball on the front nine of one of the local fields here and the Srixon soft touch ball on the back nine. The Wilson flies nicely straight but lacks the feel and range of the Srixon. I definitely got more ball spin/relaxation with the Srixon, so if accuracy is your goal but you're willing to sacrifice feel and distance, then the Wilson is for you.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No instructions

This ball has yards for your play and keeps it on the fairway.

Returned to the Gulf after 30 years. Now that I'm in my early 60s, I don't quite have the strength I had then. Of course my swing has slowed down so I can't understand the compression others get on high end balls like the Pro v1. When I started looking for options, this ball seemed like the most sensible one. I've bought a few dozen now because I lose them sometimes and I'm in love with this ball. The deepening and softness of the ball allows you to get more distant and direct shots, which, of…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • I vaguely remember

Play with a new ball at a good price

I used to play with a mix of balls I found on the field and a small voice in my head said I wanted the same ball I would get used to the constant feeling and therefore get a lower score. I played my first 18 holes on three of them and my score is basically the same. I love the feel and thump of the driver though, yes they sound and feel great out of the T. A lot of the drive shots fly straight, which I attribute to the reduced spin on these balls! Great. I think they went as far as any other…
