Not that impressed.

We can't eat gluten so cooking spray with flour isn't an option. This pan has the worst non-stick coating I have ever had. No matter how I finish the surface, everything sticks to this pan. I tried to get it working but to no avail. When I pulled out the pan today, it was rusty. I'm out!

Pros
  • Great general specs
Cons
  • boring packaging

One serving equals one serving of cupcake

I didn't buy this pan with the intention of using it for cakes! My nephew wanted a Minecraft cake for his birthday and I couldn't make round cupcakes to make them look pretty. Get in that pot. It was perfect for making little creepers and a sword out of the game. It's the perfect serving size to match this cupcake. Can't wait to use this for more of my cake orders!

Pros
  • understandable even for an old man
Cons
  • Basically ok, but...

There will be no good round cakes.

Of all the cake pans I've ever bought, this is one of them. In fact, he's the only one. Good quality. The square shape in the pan means the cakes will come out square. No wait. yes they are square (had to double check). Good quality non-stick surface, brownies popped up with no problems. Because the brownie mix isn't sticky, it's really easy to clean.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

I ended up paying a slightly higher price for the Premium

The cakes came out beautifully and they really gave the brownies that 'every edge' I was looking for but even after oiling the pan cakes required serious manipulation to remove them from the pan, even after they had completely cooled. I ended up going with the Perfect Results Premium Wilton pan, which seemed to work a little better, but still wasn't fully non-stick.

Pros
  • Delicious
Cons
  • Available in white only

Burnt and undercooked

Everything I've baked in them is burned on the outside and undercooked on the inside, and they rise in these pans with that ugly dome. When I bake pies in a regular 9x13 pan, the top does NOT curve and the corners don't burn. The same goes for mochi/mochi with butter. My oven is fine because I bake everything in bread pans, glass pans, disposable aluminum pans with no problems. This pan is the only thing that gives me results. I tried putting less batter on the squares. I've even tried cooking…

Very versatile, durable pan

Really love this pan, not just for cakes. In fact, this is the second one I'm buying to join the one I've had for several years. One of my favorite things about it is filling Thanksgiving squares β€” it's the perfect portion and the perfect ratio of crispy to soft and moist on the inside. We like stuffing ground beef here, so I always cook for at least 2 pans. Also, I've used it for mini cornbreads (with different toppings), assorted mini cakes, mini frittatas, and so on. I always spray it on and

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Infuriates

i used this for cupcakes (not cake) to make minecraft birthday cake. It worked great. I've read that you can use regular cupcake liners and get square cupcakes - it's not 100% accurate. The top was square but the bottom is still round. So if you want cube-shaped cupcakes, you can't use round liners. I just sprinkled on top of the pan and didn't use the cups and the muffins came out perfectly clean and the pan was super easy to clean afterwards. Keep in mind that cube-shaped cupcakes are not as…
