"Sturdy and Reliable

The Wilton WIL55114 Hammer BASH DEAD performed exceptionally well during my tests. The handle is comfortable to grip and the head is durable enough to withstand heavy use .As my tests showed it's able to give a solid strike every time, making tasks easier and more efficient. The only minor con is that it may be a bit heavier than some may prefer..

Very disappointed. Not at all what I expected.

Purchased March 2019 considering it is a dead hammer, of little use and only weighs 1.5lbs bought it for less use. At the same time, the head of this one has already split. Working on a farm there are some things I use a deep mallet or rubber mallet for. Last time I used this I drove a U-joint into the shaft and couldn't use a steel hammer or accidentally damage the housing, pretty much what I bought it for. I really thought Wilton hammers should be the best, but as you can see in the picture…
