🍏 Aluminum Winco Apple Corer and Divider - A Superior Apple Preparation Tool Review

As several other reviewers have said, I got this apple core after watching Elton Brown's Good Eats Show (he recommends a core that makes 10-12 slices ). Unfortunately, this grain is not sharp enough to be used easily. I have to push him as hard as possible and that's very difficult. Also, I still have to cut the slices with a knife after using this tool because it usually doesn't cut everything right. A true "you get what you pay for" experience.

I got this as a gift from my Wishlist. I used it once and put it in the dishwasher. There were no instructions on the box but it was machine washable. When I took it out, the coating on my hands came off. It didn't look shiny either. I'm not sure if it's really aluminum as written. Also, it was very difficult to use.
