🍁 14 oz Winco Clear Steel Medium Maple Syrup or Honey Dispenser Review

I don't like storing honey in plastic because I don't like to put it in the microwave or hot water. This will pour honey without dripping when you release the slider while it's still on the tip. I think what they are saying is not to use the microwave as people can assemble it with the metal and gasket and I will have no problem filling most of it and just popping a jar of honey in the microwave . You need to put a gasket in front of the cover. No more sticky glasses to clean.

When clean and unused, the dispenser functions normally. Fill it with maple syrup and use it, and if you try to use it after keeping the syrup at room temperature, the mechanism won't open. The syrup "sealed" it. This means that every time you use the dispenser you have to take it apart and wash the mechanism at the top along with the rubber bushing to prevent leakage. The pint or quart bottles it comes in are impractical, but at least they don't need to be washed every time they're used.

At first I really liked this product. I ended up buying three. Following the advice of other reviewers (make sure the gasket is installed properly), I haven't had any issues with leaks. I have found that the seal and rim need a thorough cleaning after refuelling; no problem. But after 6 months of use they are all more or less leaking. All parts have always been carefully hand washed, so no harsh machining. But the poetry just stops doing its job after a while. The one I use every day leaks…

So far I am very happy with this syrup dispenser. I make my own syrups and need dispensers that can be used both on the table and to store the syrups. I make blueberry syrup that has whole blueberries in it and the hole is big enough for the blueberries to fit through. To warm syrup, I take the top and heat it in a glass container, then put the lid back on. With this dispenser and similar dispensers, it is important to ensure that the gasket is installed correctly. If not, there will be a leak.

I did a lot of research before buying and despite a few complaints about the front dripping, took a chance. I had absolutely no problems with it and I really like this dispenser. I prefer to store honey in glass rather than plastic, but I hate the slowness of the honey dipper when trying to put honey in tea. This masterfully solves the problem.
