I don't know why people say it's leaking. I have used for a home ranch. Works perfect! Finally found something I don't have to wipe down every time I water a ranch

So of course I bought this for Syrup but due to lack of ventilation, Syrup leaks out the sides. I switched to my sugar and it works great! Do not use for syrup, but sugar can be used!

Lid seal leaking. We use a lot of maple syrup and I was looking for something that wouldn't leave a sticky residue wherever you put it. It wasn't. It flows through the handle from behind as soon as the syrup hits the ring.

Used for chocolate syrup. The syrup bottle keeps getting sticky and clogged, so I'm now filling a large bottle in this dispenser. When the syrup gets sticky in my mouth, I just take the lid off and pour hot water over it. Once again we have a clean and not messy way to use our favorite toppings.

The plastic on plastic is not very suitable for the container you are pouring liquids from. Wanted something that would fit in a Costco sized container of maple syrup and thought it looked good. Eventually it started dripping through the handle. What was locked under the rim found a place there. A simple rubber ring would have prevented this. Cheap product! I've tried loosening it a bit and tightening it fairly firmly but the leak is the same. I'm going to send it back as I think it's a defect.

A serving of Real Maple Syrup is cheaper when bought in bulk. However, real maple syrup must be refrigerated after opening or it will eventually go moldy on the inside (I learned this the hard way). Also, dispensing maple syrup from these large containers is not easy and results in overusing. Bought which is a good balance of storing a fair amount of syrup but still in a handy serving container. Very satisfied with the quality of the product and its usefulness.

We bought this 1 liter real maple syrup dispenser which is expensive and much thinner than fake. Unfortunately, it's not always sold in bottles that you can sprinkle food on. And we needed a quart size to match the size of the bottles it's sold in. This item holds the entire liter and allows you complete control of the flow rate - down to a thin drop.
