I would give Wine Away 500 stars if I could. This product is AMAZING! It has worked wonders on many occasions but when I knocked over a glass of cabernet in the middle of a room with a new rug just before we were listing our house. Nice portion of Wine Away, leave for a few minutes, then give Lucy Ricardo the best on a rag towel, and voila! Another new carpet!

I used this to remove a red wine stain that was on my light colored carpet for 2 days before noticing it. It took a few applications, but the job was done. I have used this product for many years on both clothing and carpets. I didn't comment on the smell as I've never noticed it. How important is the smell of a stain remover to you?

I am so satisfied with this product that after the first use I bought more. My dog's tail spilled a full glass of RED wine onto the carpet and light gray bedspread. I thought they were going broke. Not the case, I used this product and it worked great! It needed more cleaning and reapplying to the carpet but it worked and on the duvet you could actually see the red stains disappear when I applied the product before putting it in the wash. I recommend this product!
