Very expensive for what you get.

Easy installation. Too expensive for what you get. If you want to install an antenna, you have to pay. All cost about the same.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Works but expensive.

It met my expectations: I fixed the bowl on the roof of my RV so I didn't have to worry about it. It worked as intended, but the price for four pieces of metal and a couple of screws was too high.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Nothing here

Well made, good design and finish

I liked the mounts but decided not to use them and sent them back. It was decided that it was best to have a portable Playmaker rather than a roof mount to avoid signal blockage from trees etc at campsites.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Can be used for other satellite dishes.

These are great for mounting satellite dishes. Supposedly this mounting system is not suitable for the X2 satellite dish as it is not designed for a permanent installation, but they work great for that as well. You just have to use longer screws. I use them to keep my X2 from moving in high winds. But the price for this set seems high to me. But the assembly set works perfectly.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete

Good secure method of mounting the antenna

Although I found the mounting kit to be a little more expensive it provides a solid base for installing the satellite dish. One of the advantages of using this mounting kit is that the antenna can be easily removed if you wish to use the portable stand when you do not have a clear view of the sky from your parked RV. They can then later be remounted on the roof in an indexed mounting location with simple mounting screws.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Lightweight Waterproof Satellite Mount System

Installing the Winegard Satellite Mount Kit is very easy. Simply attach the center screw to the satellite base, place it on the surface you wish to mount it on and mark the location of the retaining screws. Remove the satellite and drill an appropriately sized hole in the marked area. I would suggest using butyl putty between the brackets and the (roof) surface to waterproof the drilled holes. This putty tape is commonly used in residential homes and is purchased in rolls; Do not use silicone…

Pros
  • Great Product
Cons
  • Something Different
