works great! My brother has a more expensive air purifier from this brand and recommended it. It is very durable and equipped with plasma wave technology that helps get rid of bacteria and viruses. This is perfect for the home, office, or school where I work with children. Very nice, too! Eyes don't hurt like some people do.

If you need something to clean the air, this isn't it. I let it run for about 30 minutes before I started cooking and 20 minutes after cooking and it couldn't detect any odor, smoke, etc. I plugged in another black model and after about 5 minutes it detected an odor and was all red. time when I was preparing. I leave it on until I'm done cooking as it obviously does the job. I am sending back the small white and black one.

A great little air purifier for the children's room. We usually leave it on Auto during the day when it detects the air quality and adjusts speed accordingly. At night, we use night mode, which is quieter and essentially turns off the device's light (except for the dim display of the moon, which we've covered with a sticker to make it dimmer). In addition, the plasma wave technology can be switched on and off. Very satisfied. Added bonus: Made in South Korea.

Great little air purifier. Catches my pit bulls farts (which is one of the reasons it fits in my bedroom). It also escalated when I sprayed sanitizer on my bedroom doorknobs (3 seasons of pediatric flu). It's actually a bit louder than the Winix 5500, which surprised me but didn't bother me. I already have Winix D360 and HR900 which have been rated at 25 and 27dB. They're very quiet and I love them, but they're bulky.
