I ordered three of these for my bedrooms, thought they would be an affordable option but when I received them I changed the word "affordable" to "cheap". They don't look like the picture at all. Half of this is solid 'wood' and the sides/shelf is pressed board with a high gloss finish that does not match the grain of the rest and the 'finish' is very light. Think unpainted pine. Bought a set of two as cheap bedside tables. They were well packed in a box. Mostly layered with foam paper so the pieces don't rub against each other. It took me time and I assembled it in about 45 minutes. The first ones came together fairly easily. The instructions are clear and all parts are included.
