Soft textured for easy blending wet or dry. Highly pigmented colour, with excellent lightfastness. Round, cedar wood barrel with break-resistant 3.7mm core that sharpens cleanly to a point. Can be used as dry color or wet with a brush to turn into paint. ACMI Certified non-toxic. Set includes 1 each; White, Yellow, Sunflower, Orange, Mandarin, Red, Carmine, Rose Pink, Soft Peach, Pastel Pink, Plum, Midnight Blue, True Blue, Royal Blue, Ice Grey 3, Azure, Turquoise, Lush Green, Grass, Olive Green, Caramel, Umber, Burnt Sienna, Black.

Good Pencils - Arts, Painting & Craft Supplies

These pencils are good and work almost as well as my much more expensive Caron de Arche pencils which are a bit more intense and have more color options. I love using these pens and if there were more colors I would probably buy them. They appear to stain quickly and more information on color fastness will come from Winsor & Newton. They are packaged in a very stylish tin can.

It is worth experimenting with

. I bought these to wear outdoors. I have never used watercolor pencils, although I have other, more expensive sets. Arteza Watercolor Spiral Paper. Probably the most intense color when wet and just finished, like orange. There aren't many colors, so mixing is necessary. Just put all the different ones and add water. Then dip the brush in the new color to use elsewhere. I was able to adjust the colors to correct the mistakes. I advise you not to dive into the paper and make life, but to stayโ€ฆ

I trust Winsor and Newton. However, problems with the lightfastness.

I have other watercolor pencils but wanted to try these because I love Winsor and Newton watercolors and have been using them for 30 years. Both Kotman and the artists paint. They are very sweet! I wish they had lightfastness ratings but I understand they are getting closer. In the meantime I put them in my window to check them out. See results below. They work great if you don't mind the question. And this is compared to the Caran d'Ache Museum watercolors and Albrecht Dรผrer. The pencil isโ€ฆ
